Today is Friday, January 3, 2025. I am 43 years old. This is my first (ever) blog post. I've made countless attempts to write and publish over the years but always convinced myself I wasn't ready or the work needed refinement or it wasn't good enough and I never hit publish.

That changes today.

It's quite likely that my writing was never going to reach that ideal ready state and the work would always need some refinement, but today I am going to publish anyway. I am going to leave my words exposed, out in the open, for all to see.

I don't have a specific number of posts or subs in mind that I'd like to hit in the next year. My focus is consistency. Carving out time daily to write/post/create content. Some days will be easier than others. It's essential to publish when I am unmotivated, on days where I think my writing is shit. If I am successful in doing that, my online presence and the followers should grow in ways I can't fully imagine or predict as I am standing here writing this today.

How long can I keep this going? Will I have something to show for this time next year or will I be in the same spot I've found myself time and time again?

Only time will tell...
